Virtual Public Consultation

Land at Pershore Road, Evesham

Welcome to this Virtual Public Consultation, relating to the proposed development of new, high-quality homes at Pershore Road, Evesham. This consultation is being undertaken by RCA Regeneration Ltd, on behalf of Stonebond Properties. 

The purpose of this consultation is to keep local people informed and to gather your views and perspectives on the principle and quantum of development. All comments will be carefully considered and may result in changes to the proposals. Once the application is submitted, there will be further opportunities for you to comment on the proposals via the council’s website as part of the statutory consultation process.

Site Background

The site is bound to the north, west and south by open agricultural fields . To the east and south east is existing residential development.

The site is located adjacent to the boundary of Evesham and therefore benefits from being sustainably located. The nearest bus stop is located 220m east of the site. A farm shop is also located 300m east of the site.

The site is situated within the administrative area of Wychavon. The site is not located within an AONB, Green Belt, conservation area or within the setting of a listed building. The site falls entirely within Flood Zone 1 and has a very low risk of surface water (pluvial) flooding. There are no nearby designated heritage assets within the locality of the site. 

There are no Public Rights of Way within the site. 

Evesham is a highly sustainable location with a large range of services and facilities.

Proposals

In consideration of the site opportunities and constraints, Stonebond Properties have produced the preliminary site layout contained at the foot of this page.

The layout shows open space and green infrastructure.

The proposals will be made in full for 73 new homes, which would offer a  mixture of different dwelling types and sizes.

New homes will be energy efficient, incorporating photovoltaics and heat pump technology in order to keep energy costs very low.

Parking will also be provided for each dwelling in line with the Council’s parking standards, these will include electric car charging points.  The new homes will also include secure cycle parking.

Purpose

This consultation is designed to keep you informed to seek your opinions on the principle and quantum of the development.

Therefore, the intention of this consultation is to ensure that the residential development proposed takes account of local perspectives, ensuring a higher quality development that best meets the needs of the area.

If you would like to provide your views and comments on the scheme, please complete and submit the consultation response form. We also wish to seek information from you as to whether your household is in need of affordable housing.

All comments will be taken into consideration and the feedback we receive may result in changes being made to the proposed scheme.
