Background
Morro Partnerships and Altus Homes wish to bring forward this development and welcome your views before submitting the application.
Morro Partnerships is a residential developer with a purpose. Our ability to adapt and regenerate has led us to become the largest privately-owned affordable housing provider in the region.
Created on the solid foundations of our new purpose to be better tomorrow makers, we are proactive in driving regeneration across the Midlands, introducing new technologies to build efficient, high-quality developments that are sustainable, accessible, modern and affordable.
The Proposed Development
The new homes would be accessed via a new vehicular access junction from Wyre Hill along with pedestrian/cycle access points throughout the site. The proposals include a large area of public open space sited to the eastern side of the site. The plans on this webpage show the indicative aspirations for the development.
The proposed development would have approximately 42 new affordable homes and the development will include a variety of dwelling sizes (including 1, 2, 3, 4 bed homes – to be confirmed). The homes would comprise a mixture of social/affordable rent and shared ownership tenures. There will be significant areas of new landscaping which will complement the character of the area and provide a boost to local biodiversity.
